New England Barn Dance - various, old-time barn dances, squares and maybe a contra; played and called by Two Fiddles , aka Jacqueline and Dudley Laufman of Canterbury, New Hampshire; dance is open to the public and no experience is necessary
When: Saturday October 25, 2008, 7:00 pm (ends around 10:00 pm)
Where: Dartmouth Grange No. 162 Patrons Hall, 1133 Fisher Road, Dartmouth, MA 02748, 508-636-1900
Cost: Ten dollars per person (reduced price for children), tickets include beverages and also dessert at the conclusion
How: Tickets are sold in advance and some remaining tickets at the door. Tickets may be purchased ahead at Alderbrook Farm Store (open seven days a week), Russell's Mills Road, Dartmouth, MA 02748 (right around the corner from the Grange Hall where the dance will be held)
